SYNOPSIS: In an empty space that seems to have no way out, a young man lives and recounts an existence spent fiercely in criminality, in an escalation of violence and perdition—between dream and remorse, pleasure and pain, anger, resentment, and profound solitude. Another man, older, watches over him, relentlessly judges him, and tortures him. He stays right on him like a hungry mastiff, a war dog, holding him hostage, making it impossible for him to hit rock bottom, yet never allowing him to save himself or find redemption. The old man forces him, but is himself forced, dragged along by the other's desire, voluptuousness, and willful craving. Between the two hangs a rope noose, swinging inexorably like a warning, the sign of an omen that ties them tightly to a shared destiny. Freely inspired by a true story.

DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
A man alone grapples with himself and his past in the prison of his inner world. Memory fills the space, coming to life as it is filtered through subjectivity with its distortions and projections—a skull split in two with an axe, a nail driven straight down the middle... The conflict finds its voice, the torment becomes visible, and the torture of the soul takes physical form. On stage, the person generates his double: a character takes shape from memory, forced to play the person; soliloquy becomes dialogue and relationship. The dreamlike and archetypal dimension deforms the realism of stage situations and language. In his head, this man wants nothing but silence, yet there is no silence, while devoted to the altar of money, he signs his own sentence to hell.
