This documentary follows the realization of the play “Famiglia” by Fort Apache Theatre Company, under the guidance of director Valentina Esposito. The company is made of ex-convicts who found a new passion for acting during their time in jail. Once they were released, they were able to carry on their passion thanks to Fort Apache.

Marcello Fonte’s unexpected success at Cannes 2018 brought the media’s attention on the theatre company. The members of Fort Apache now have their first big chance to prove themselves as professional actors in front of a big audience.
